Race Directors

Race day is about people; and livestreaming helps more of them be part of it.

Pacer Travel offers race livestream coverage that lets families, friends, and crews follow the action when they can’t be on course. It’s a simple way to share the moments that make your race special, highlight your runners and volunteers, and give your community a front-row seat.

Our coverage is designed to fit into your race, not get in the way of it. Livestreaming adds another layer of connection without changing what makes your race your race.

Curious if livestreaming makes sense for your event?
Let’s talk it through and see what feels like a good fit.

Race Livestream FAQ

What does a livestream really add to a race?

It lets people back home follow along - family, friends, crews, and supporters who want to feel part of race day. It also gives runners something to share afterward and helps keep the energy and story of the race alive beyond the weekend. After the race, we turn key moments from the livestream into short, shareable clips that runners and race teams can pass along and enjoy.

Will livestreaming get in the way of runners or volunteers?

No. We’re very intentional about staying out of the way. We focus on finish lines, aid stations, and storytelling moments without interrupting runners, volunteers, or race operations.

Do we need to provide extra volunteers or staff?

Nope. We handle our own setup and work within the flow of your race so there’s no added burden on your team.

Is livestreaming only worth it for big races?

Not at all. Smaller and regional races often benefit the most because livestreams help show off the community, personality, and unique feel of the event. Things that make runners want to come back.

How long does the livestream stay available?

The replay stays up after race day, so runners and supporters can revisit it and share it. It also gives your race extra visibility long after the finish line closes.

Can this help with sponsor exposure?

Yes, in a natural way. Sponsors, aid stations, and partners are highlighted as part of the race experience (not as ads) which tends to feel more authentic and appreciated.

What kinds of races are a good fit for livestreaming?

Most ultras are. Livestreaming works especially well for races with:

  • Engaged local communities

  • Destination runners and traveling crews

  • Interesting courses or environments

We’re happy to talk through whether it makes sense for your race specifically.

How far ahead do we need to plan?

Earlier is always better, but depending on the race and logistics, we can sometimes make it work on shorter notice. Just reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.

How does livestreaming help race sponsors?

Livestreams give sponsors authentic visibility on race day and provide shareable clips afterward that help extend their support and exposure beyond the weekend.

What does working directly with Pacer Travel look like for sponsors?

We partner with sponsors to create natural, race-day visibility and shareable content that connects with the ultrarunning community before, during, and after race weekend.
